“I have my dad's old turntable, receiver (very old and broken) and speakers. Would this work in the old receivers place? I need something that will be able to be connected to the turntable and speakers and get is all working, and someone to hook it up!”

Hi Jen, Yes, you can connect a turntable to this receiver. However, to connect a turntable that only has a PHONO output jack, you need to connect a phono equalizer (not supplied) between the turntable and this receiver. When it comes to speaker, as long as the speaker is 6-16ohms, then it should work properly with this receiver. Thanks! ^Ron
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes--however you will need a phono equalizer between turntable and the receiver, per Page 24 of IM manual. This maybe more than you need if only used for stereo, since it handles surround 5.1 channels. But it should work.
