“My old receiver allowed us to watch tv and listen to music at the same time. I had to buy a chromecast to allow us to do this. Will this receiver allow us to do the same? With/without a chromecast? I tried hooking it up but every time it switches screens”

Hi Jake, Unfortunately, you can only listen to one audio source at a time. We recommend our STRDN1080 if you want that kind of function. Regards, David
