Hi KennyR, Thank you for your inquiry. You can connect speakers with impedances of 6 to 16 ohms. To check the impedances of the speakers, check the back of the speakers or the supplied manual. Hope this helps! -Sam

Please try again later.Yes, it is a 5.1 meaning it has jacks for a combo of four speakers (call them what you want - front/back/surround/etc) plus one center speaker plus one sub woofer if you have it. Don't worry about all the things tech terminology just hook up the farthest from the TV as back, the other two as surround and the closest fifth speaker as center. Any 5.1 AVR will work the same. Then just calibrate using the included mic
