It should help if the question were to be read. I am asking why there is no signal from either of the sub outlets to other wise working active subwoofer (the kind that you plug into a power outlet and when you flip the switch a little red LED light comes on to let the user know know that is is powered). I started the setup using the supplied mic to hear the speakers and recognized this time that there is sub attached too.

Follow up to answer: Thank you. I didn’t realize that there was a need for subwoofer just like as speakers are needed. What was I thinking?

The output is only signal. You need to have an external powered subwoofer for it to work correctly.
