Hi Bubba, Thanks for your inquiry. The supplied remote control of the receiver has no control over the volume of the TV. If your TV is connected to the receiver via HDMI ARC and the control for HDMI turned on, then the TV remote has the control over the volume of the receiver. Hope this helps! -Sam
