Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I get something similar with our TCL Monitor. It always comes up to the last item selected (in our case, it's the "media box" (Apple TV for us). I wanted to have the same feature - instant on. But honestly, after about a month of owning this, it's really no big deal. Just one additional button to press on our Harmony Remote (the center "OK" button). After all the HDMI inputs say hello to each other and sync up, we're off and running. In theory, this makes sense, as some folks have other things connected to the TV as well - computers, DVD players, game boxes, etc. In our case, we do NOT, but I can understand the need to have it. Frankly, I'm amazed all this stuff works as well as it does. We put away all the individual remotes and just use one main controller (Harmony) and it all works. My wife loves it, too. Less clutter.
