“The DH590 would be a replacement for my old Onkyo surround sound system. The Onkyo front speakers and sub woofer would be wired. The system had wired rear surround speakers. My preference is for compatible wireless speakers for the rear. Suggestions?”

Hi Robeau, Thank you for the inquiry! Any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms. Unfortunately, you cannot connect a wireless speaker to this AV receiver. Equipped with 4 HDMI inputs, Bluetooth and a host of advanced features, your new receiver is ready for whatever and wherever your content takes you. Regards, David

Connected the speakers, both front, center and rear as per the instructions and everything worked. I was able to now directly connect HDMI cable from the amp to the TV. It is sooo nice to have my surround system back.
