“Can I use the remote that comes with this to operate my tv such as on and off and input? ( instead of using two remotes)”

• The remote doesn't have any programmable functions for adding a TV. Some Sony devices have been known to support each other over hdmi. I have the lower end Harmony remote and this model is listed directly in setup for an easy program.
