“I am not getting any sound through my Bose Acoustimass 7 subwoofer. The other speakers are fine. Also have a powered sub hooked up and there is no signal to it either. Just hooked up receiver yesterday.”

For whatever their reasoning was, all speakers are not allowed to play depending on what you are watching. For your television or dvd player it only allows certain speakers but not all, there is nothing wrong with the receiver or your hook up. I have tried everything I can to get all the speakers playing at all times but I can not.
