Can I connect a passive subwoofer to this receiver? null

No, this receiver can not connected to a passive subwoofer.

I ran the speaker wire to the sub and then from there to the speakers. Works great, sounds amazing.

I have one exactly like this and YES....you can connect a passive subwoofer to the back marked SUBWOOFER.
