Hi P51stud, Thank you for your interest in the STRDH590. If you just want to use the AV receiver as a hub for your audio/video devices and listen through your TV speakers, I would recommend connecting the AV receiver to your TV via HDMI ARC connection and set the audio output settings of your TV to TV speakers.
