“Can I power two zones (same source) at the same time using this receiver? I have 5.1 speakers in my family room and stereo speakers on my patio and like to have them all playing simultaneously (same source).”

Hi MikeM, Unfortunately, the STRDH590 doesn't support zone function so you cannot use two different audio systems. We recommend our STRDN1080. Happy to help, David.
