Yes. Mine is hooked up to a non 4k projector and it does a good job.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 5 year old Sony NON -4K TV and the recover works perfectly. Some streaming movie rentals are in 4K, and everything works seamlessly. When I do get my 4K TV, I’ll just plug it into my setup and will be ready to go! Already, my speakers sound even better (although you do have to adjust the treble and base settings to get the full effect). I’m extremely happy with my purchase.
