Will it connect to or use alexa thru Bluetooth? null

I have an echo dot paired with the Bluetooth. When I want to listen to music I just say, “Alexa, connect to my speakers.” She connects and the receiver turns on which is great, but then the tv turns on, too. But I only want to listen to music and don’t want the tv on. Is there a way to keep the tv from turning on? When I a done listening through Alexa, I just say, “Alexa disconnect my speakers and it unpairs and turns off the receiver. Unfortunately it doesn’t turn off the tv, but it switches to over the air tv so I have to turn it off manually.

It does have Bluetooth. I use it to play music from my phone.
