“Can I use the Polk audio subwoofer PSW250 with this receiver ? The subwoofer is self powered and 4 ohms . The receiver is 6-16 ohms . The other speakers I will be hooking up are 8ohms”

Yes. Ohms 4-8 all are fine!! Actually this Sony reciever 5.2 allows for 2qty subwoofers (.2 is for 2 subwoofers, this Sony has 2 imputs available for subwoofers).
