Hi Acs50, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, this receiver doesn't support 4K/120Hz passthrough. However, this unit is capable of 4K/60Hz passthrough and supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) contents passthrough. If your priority is 8K & 4K/120 HDMI Connectivity with HDMI 2.1 support, you may consider checking out the STRAN1000, STRAZ1000ES, STRAZ3000ES, STRAZ5000ES, and STRAZ7000ES A/V receiver models Regards, Jess
