“I live in Central Florida. It’s humid and the receiver will be in a covered, screened in patio. I will have the device encased in a plastic box. Air can get in. Will the receiver survive in there conditions?”

Hi there, Thanks for your question. You can use the AV receiver outdoors but take note that the AV receiver is not weatherproof. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Place the receiver in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat buildup and prolong the life of the receiver. Also, do not use this apparatus near water IMPORTANT: The limited warranty of the AV receiver does not cover any kind of accidental or physical damage. Regards, Jess
