If you have a CD player that’s no problem.  If you have a soundbar give it to your significant other because you are moving up to true surround sound!!!

Hi Turk, Thank you for your interest in the STRDH590. Yes, you can hook up your CD player. This unit is equipped with 4 HDMI inputs and 4 RCA audio inputs so you can connect multiple devices. However, you cannot connect your soundbar to the unit. Only the STR-DH190 stereo receiver has an audio analog output for an active speaker or soundbar connection. We recommend connecting passive speakers with impedances of 6 to 16 ohms. Hope this helps! -Sam
