For all of this information, you should go to the company (Sony) website and choose Customer Support. There should be an Owner's Guide or Manual available and that should answer all of your questions. I do believe they would also have interactive help available, or contact a salesman at any Best Buy store. In my personal experience, all electric appliances sold for use in the U.S. have the same electrical specifications - standard. The FM tuner is included, as is the CD player, but I have not used the CD player so I don't know which types it will play. The manual should cover that.
