A:AnswerIt could be that it’s not mixing well with the 4K. If you really want the full 4K sharpness buy the 4K player. I did right away because I wanted the full effect. Then get a couple of 4K DVDs and wow on that tv.
A:AnswerNo, it did not, although any new HDMI cable you buy will provide the 18 gigabits/second.needed to transmit 4K (that should be any cable made after 2009). I have read that 2.1 cables are better for HDR and now that I have a TV that supports that I may upgrade the cable from this new player. I'm not sure if my satellite carries any HDR offerings but I know at least Netflix was shooting in HDR so supposedly they are streaming with that metadata.
A:AnswerYES! It does start where you turn it off. What I LOVE the most is that when I turn the DVD player on, the TV also turns on and I don't have to change the input HDMI. Made a good choice in buying this one.
A:AnswerIt will play blu ray but actually it is not for gaming...it has Dolby but not DTS. You need an AV Receiver or media controller with your game player...my opinion.
A:AnswerMine stopped functioning today, so I can't remember if Amazon or Youtube were on it. It did have netflix, but the version of hulu on it was stripped down You could only watch certain things on it and it didn't allow hulu live TV.
My Advice is pick another player. I've had this for 2 years now, maybe used 1-2 times a month and it just stopped working. When I start it up it just displays a black screen that says Sony.
