• I don’t believe the sonos speakers decode the 192khz rate but it might support one of the lower hi res bands. Sonos probably has the answer on their website.

• I hooked this player up to an external sound system using the optical adapter cable and it registered Dolby Digital 5.1 without a problem. With the proper HDMI cable supporting the necessary bandwidth, I don't see why it wouldn't work for your application as well.
