“If I have a 3.5 mm external mic that I use for gaming, (it's from v-moda) would that work with these? It is the Boom-pro mic and it plugs into the headset directly. Would that item work with these or a similar in-line mic with a boom?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not believe so, the mic is already built into the unit and you don't need the cord to use it to talk. I use it for Skype calls at work all the time
