Hi Jen, Yea you will need a charger and a cable. I use my iPhone charger. You will need a USB Type-C cable and charger (not included) or you can hook up to your pc using a USB Type-C Cable USB AC adaptor capable of supplying an output current of 0.5 A (500 mA) or more They are nice, other than not coming with a cable and charger. As long as you have a usb c charger that will work. Unfortunately it doesnt include the cord to charge. It well worth it.

Hello this headphones have a usb -c port if you should be have a charger with a cable or only the cable a charge with a laptop.
