You can only connect to one item at a time unless you have a common amp or receiver that you can connect your tv and iPad to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The channel switch is only for changing the transmitting frequency between the base and the headphones. It is not for switching sources. You would need some kind of external switch on the input to accomplish that, or just connect it to whatever source you want to use each time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit comes with one transmitting base and therefore requires that you manually switch the stereo input plug to the desired sound source (stereo receiver, TV, DVD, etc.). These would not be ideal for use with an iPad used in the traditional manner (I.e. portable and held in your hand).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have them connected to my TV through the audio (red/white outlets) connections. It really depends on your set-up how you can connect things. I use the audio output on my cable box for TV. I also have them connected to my Blu-Ray player because they come with another cord (one end looks like a headphone insert the other the red/white). You could connect your iPad through that cord but you would need a special cord. You would just want to buy a long headphone style with two different ends (1 end into your iPad the other into the headphone base). You wouldn't need to switch channels with this form of a set-up just turn off the cable/satellite box and turn on the iPad and it would automatically switch the audio source. There are a lot of other mixes and possibilities but based on my own settings that's my thoughts, hope it helps a little.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the channel selector does not function as an input changer.
