• You should be able to. I have mine paired with a laptop that has Windows 7. Also have paired them to my IPad and my iPod touch.

• If your laptop is Bluetooth enabled, age is irrelevant. I bought this set for my wife's iPad Pro which I bought July 2016 and she loves them.
