“I want to use the headphones while watching TV. Is this possible? How does the sound get to the phones?”

If your television is Bluetooth capable or has a standard earphone jack (3.5mm), you can use the headphones while watching television. In case the headphone jack is the larger sized jack (1/4"), you can buy adapter for about 4 or 5 bucks, maybe even cheaper. It is a 1/4' to 3.5mm adapter.

Depends on the model TV you have and if it has bluetooth capabilities. Refer to the owner's manual of your television.

These are 100% wireless. If your TV has Bluetooth then it will work. If not, these are not your solution. Check your TV manual if it is not obvious from the sound menu.
