They support wificalling, it works on 1and 5 IV but you have to enable it DIY way. Theres a step by step guide on XDA forum ,it simple you get shizuku app and pixelIMS app and then just follow a guide to enable that stuff, doesnt void any warranty as you arent messing with anything like bootloder or root access .

This is an official factory unlocked smartphone and is also compatible with all major U.S. carriers (Verizon (5G), AT&T/Cricket (5G), T-Mobile (5G)). However, most unlocked phones will not work with Wi-Fi Calling (VoWiFi) and it is the network operator that decides if the model is able to use the feature. To best assist you, please contact T-Mobile as they are best equipped to respond to your concern. With its next-generation Exmor T for mobile sensor and computational processing, the Xperia 1 V delivers low-light pictures that you never thought possible on a smartphone, with less noise and wider dynamic range – and videos with cinematic color expression. Its imaging prowess is complemented by a host of other features, from immersive entertainment to functional, tactile design. Regards, Jess
