HD calling yes. WiFi calling no. It’s not allowed by Sony on this device. Not even an option. Don’t waste your money. I bought it and returned next day due to all the features it’s lacking for 700 dollars.

When I realized it had neither, I returned it for the S8. However, the poster above is incorrect on wi-fi calling. I've owned an unlocked phone (not carrier tied) that had wi-fi built in, the Axon 7. If the Sony had the above features, I would have kept the phone, I loved the form factor.
