No. It requires a nano sim card.

It should work with lte as it has all the necessary bands. Not sure why they are saying just the compact works as the band specs are identical. You will however have to get volte to work to make voice calls as it has no cdma specs. Users are reporting volte working on the compact just not sure why or if the xz2 full-size differs.
