• Hi, That question comes from the APP manager application, and not from the Sphero. Just hit "Skip" and continue with the installation

• The app is free and shouldnt ask for verification. BUT is this the first time you have downloaded anything from Google play or App store? they will make you do a CC verification for future purchases. make sure you are logged in and have a profile set up before Downloading the app.
