Does this come with anything (or is there anything available) that would act as a secondary security measure in the unlikely even that the suction cup fails? It would not be a good thing to lose an expensive camera like this. null

It did not come with any securing device. I did tie a string around the mount and ran to my door handle when i ised it, just incase. But it has held on perfectly to my street rod.

There's not anything included with the mount that would act as a secondary tool to secure the mount, but many people use a tether if the mount is going to be used in a potentially damaging situation. The tester can be something as simple as a string looped through the connectors in the mount and then secured to an anchor point.
