It might work on some boards, but to secure your GoPro we'd recommend using our Surfboard Mount. The Surfboard Mount has a strong adhesive that adheres to the board and comes with a safety tether in case the mount fails. If you do use a Suction Cup mount, you will want to make sure that the GoPro is secured with some type of backup like a separate tether or additional floatation in case a wave or other bump knocks the mount off the board.
