Can the GoPro suction cup work on a dash? null

Most dashboards are not completely smooth, you would be better off attaching to the windshield, the attachments included would get you the right angle needed to catch the best view.

I tried it on my dash and it wouldn't work at all. I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado. But I think if you had a smooth dash with no marks, lines, or patterns on it you might be fine.
