Hello BUTerrier87, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. If there is sufficient ambient lighting, the camera will be able to produce a color night vision image without the lights being turned on. If there is not sufficient ambient lighting then the camera will resort to a black-and-white night vision image. For more information, contact our support team directly.
