Hi 1249. They are actually very similar cameras and contain identical lens angles and other features. On this particular range it is simply an aesthetic difference. We find that some customers prefer the Dome shape as it looks a bit more discreet, whilst others prefer the Bullet shape as it's more obvious and may catch the eye of potential criminals. For example you may wish to install the bullet cameras at the front of your house to get attention, and the domes could be mounted inside or at the back of the house where you prefer them to blend in more. -SD, Swann Team
