I would say probably not. I am over 50 and was part of the old school movement in the early 80s. I ride it to work work (round trip about 7 miles). It takes me about 20 mins each way. I generally use bike assist 1 only, with a few relaxing segments of using the throttle.

Please try again later.I don't know anything about this specific bike, but since nobody's answered this question I'll tell you what I know as someone who bikes nearly every day (on a mountain-ish hybrid) and also occasionally uses the bike-share pedal-assist ebikes available in my city: As long as you keep the battery charged, this will be a MUCH easier and most likely faster ride than a mountain/street bike (unless you're young and strong, which you've admitted you're not). I don't know for sure what happens when the juice runs out though -- but I would imagine that at that point you would be in for a slower and more strenuous ride.
