“This bike only has a rear brake. I'd like to know if the ONLY brake is the the one on the handlebars OR can reversing the direction of the pedals also brake the bike like some old-school dirt bikes.”

• The only brake is that rear brake. Pedaling backwards is not a coaster brake and does nothing.

• The hand controlled rear brake is the ONLY brake on this bike. If you pedal backwards, it just spins. No coaster brakes.

• This Bike on has a rear hand brake. It is not equipped with a coaster brake that you can pedal in the reverse direction to stop.
