I currently have Xfinity (Comcast) service. Since I already have an account with them, I can get all my Xfinity programs thru a wireless wifi connection on the tv, 
You don't need any hard wire connection to get anything, and there are lots of Roku available free programs. You can also sign up for lots of pay tv programs. Roku is the best thing around!

Can't speak for Comcast, but this TV connected flawlessly to my Spectrum Wifi. Not difficult at all to enter the password and start streaming.

The TCL 32" HD LED Roku Smart TV does not have a built-in WiFi receiver. If you currently have a wifi network in your home, connect the tv to a mini-wifi using an HDMI cable, then access your home network to gain internet access.
