It has Google Chromecast built in so yes you can stream to it with any iOS device just make sure both devices are on the same wireless network but no it doesn't Apple AirPlay but you wont be missing out on anything. The only real difference you can notice is the name. Apple devices work well with Chromecast but nothing but only iOS/ipadOS/macOS devices work with AirPlay
