A:AnswerThe picture quality. Don’t get me wrong, we have a TCL 4 series in our bedroom actually and it’s great...that’s why we decided to go with TCL for our living room tv. This time we went with 6 series though and the picture quality is better..just what you want for a larger tv. And like all the reviews say, it is a great value for the money.
A:AnswerIt would depend upon the quality of your AV receiver and 4K player. Not all home theater components are created equal. Unless you have audiophile/videophile grade components, my advice would be to run sources directly to the tv. Most components sold at BestBuy do not perform at audiophile/videophile levels. I am using a Panasonic UB9000 connected directly to the TCL 75" series 6 with Chocolate Audioquest HDMI, and the picture is very good. The less the signal has to pass through the better, but some tv's have limited HDMI ports, which dictates the need to run the signal through a receiver. Test the video quality with and without the receiver. Pick movies you are familiar with and compare the colors, shadow details, sharpness, etc. Enjoy and good luck!
