Not sure if this will answer your question but I have one tile attached to my keys and another is in my purse. Then I have both set up on the tile ap on my phone. If I cannot find my phone but can find my keys, if I pinch my keys tile, it rings my phone so I can find it. If I cannot find my keys but have my purse, I can pinch that tile in my purse to find my keys. If I cannot find either my keys or purse I also can open my tile AP on my phone and ring either. If I cannot find any of them, I can go to a computer and load the tile AP and use my info to track the last place they were. I prefer the tile pro because it also has a longer reading distance in my house so I can hear them when I ring for them.
