• Yes, it does come with a battery. The replacement is a 3 volts CR 2032 battery. Not expensive at all.

• The tile pros come with a battery and when it dies it’s easy to replace and you can get it from just about any drugstore or grocery store places like that a two pack is about $6 it’s a CR2032 battery.

• Yes, The battery is suppose it last a year. I have replaced my tiles where you can replace the battery. The older ones you could not replace the battery. You can sign up for replacement batteries with TILE CR2032. I like the fact, you can get black &/or white TILES. My objects have white while my son's objects are using black. Especially when it is used on keys for us to know who's is who"s.
