“Bought a new 32” Fire Edition tv and connected it to a senior living community AT&T cable. Regular tv works on the cable hookup, but the fire tv will not pick up any scanned channels.we thought the tv was faulty, but the new one acts the same. Any ideas?”

• Sounds like you're trying to watch cable, which would likely be a HDMI input, but scanning channels with the TV tuner but without a digital antenna. So I'd suggest once connecting your AT&T cable, switch inputs to HDMI 1 or 2.
