“We have a new Toshiba fire TV. Some shows have terrible lip sync. I've checked the TVs menu and "reset" the sound. No difference. What suggestions have you? Is this a Netflix (etc.) problem, or a Toshiba problem? Thanks”

My experience points to a subpar processor. Add that to issues with the FireTV platform and you're set up for an unsatisfactory viewing experience.
