Does this get ads on it like the Amazon tablets? null

Yes, similar - there is a banner on the menu screen, mostly for (Amazon) TV related products: Prime Video, apps available, sound bars, etc. Not as wide ranging as on Amazon tablets, in my short time with this TV. For example, have not seen any ads for protein mixes, beauty-related products, battery starters, etc. that are on the tablets.

No, it acts the same as having a fire stick connected to a TV. No other adds.
