“I know picture settings are a personal choice, but does anyone have any general recommendations for a nice picture, with natural skin colors, and a back ground that isn't washed out? I'm struggling to get a balance between tolerable and faded.”

• Movie, Backlight 75, Contrast 75ish, Brightness -3, Color +3, Tint 0, Sharpness 0, all the Dynamic stuff is OFF

• I also couldn't find a custom picture that I liked until I switched to 'Dynamic'. Picture now looks great .
