Purchase a Surge protector, you really need one anyways incase the electricity ever surges , so that it doesn’t fry your tv. Surge protectors will save your tv if that ever happens. Look at it like a small investment for a more expensive one. Lol but buy one with a longer cord to attach to your tv. this is what I use for all my computers and tvs
