ANY ELECTRONICS WILL BE DAMAGED BY HUMIDITY AND DAMPNESS, EVEN THE TEMP CHANGE FROM HOT DAY TO COLD NIGHTS WILL MAKE DAMPNESS GET INTO IT AND THE SMALL METAL PARTS ON THE MAINBOARD CAN BREAK FROM THE TEMP CHANGES OUTSIDE ON A PORCH, ONLY GET IT IF YOU BUY THE 5 YEAR WARRANTY TOO, THEY WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND FIX IT OR REPLACE, ANY REASON INCLUDING LIGHTING /SURGE DAMAGE. YES IF YOU BUY THE GEEK SQUAD +5 YR WARRANTY
