• I don't believe this router will be able to be upgraded to 6e as it would need the internal hardware for that to be possible. Remember the new 6 GHz band that a 6e router will offer won't be visible on older wi-fi devices.

• No this will not support 6E. The Archer X96 will come out later this year 2021 and is 6E.
