“3 questions 1. Can I use a tablet with the cameras even when I'm away? 2. Are there extended cables for the cameras because I would love to mount them on my wall/ceiling and 3. If I buy two do I need to connect them to each other or do they work alone.”

Hi! 1) Technically yes, as long as the cameras and the tablet are both connected to the Internet, your tablet is running a supported mobile operating system, and you are signed into your Kasa account via the Kasa app on the tablet. 2) No; however you can use an extension cord to extend the power cord length. 3) They can work separately.
